Inside the Forbidden City. Built from 1406 until 1420, it served as the home of emperors and their household and now houses the Palace Museum.

Listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1987, consist of 980 buildings with 8707 rooms and covers 7,800,000 sq ft.
